Did you know mole means sauce in Spanish? Guacamole is a great addition to tacos, nachos, burritos, but is equally great with corn chips or veggie sticks as a snack. Here's a pretty standard recipe that I use almost every week.
1 ripe avocado - mashed
1 clove garlic - minced
1/4 a red onion - minced
1 small tomato - de seeded and diced
1 tbsp sour cream
tabasco sauce to taste
Prepare the ingredients and stir avocado, garlic, onion, tomato, lemon/lime juice and sour cream together. Add tabasco, salt and pepper to taste.
To keep the guacamole green reserve the avocado stone and place it in the guacamole until you're ready to serve (weird but it works).
